The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
When you use this website, various personal data are collected. Personal data are data that can be used to identify you personally. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.
We would like to point out that data transmission over the internet (e.g., when communicating via email) may have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Information on the Responsible Party
The responsible party for data processing on this website is:
Markus Schulze Beikel
Rhader Straße 16
46325 Borken-Marbeck
Phone: 02867 9 54 09
Email: hof@schulze-beikel.de
The responsible party is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (e.g., names, email addresses, etc.).
The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data are all data that can be used to identify you personally. For detailed information on data protection, please refer to our privacy policy listed below this text.
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. An informal notification by email to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
If data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right at any time to object to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this privacy policy. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims (objection under Art. 21(1) GDPR).
If your personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for such marketing; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will no longer be used for direct marketing purposes (objection under Art. 21(2) GDPR).
In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement. The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done to the extent that it is technically feasible.
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipient, and the purpose of data processing and, if applicable, a right to correction, blocking, or deletion of this data. For this purpose, as well as for further questions on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint.
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. For this purpose, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the review, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it for the exercise, defense, or assertion of legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, these data—apart from their storage—may only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a member state.
Cookies
The website uses so-called cookies in some cases. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies.” They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies on a case-by-case basis, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Cookies that are necessary for carrying out the electronic communication process or for providing certain functions you have requested (e.g., shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g., cookies for analyzing your surfing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this privacy policy.
Server Log Files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
Browser type and browser version
Operating system used
Referrer URL
Hostname of the accessing computer
Time of the server request
IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources.
The collection of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website—for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.
Google Maps
This site uses the Google Maps map service via an API. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission.
The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers and easy location of the places we indicate on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
More information on the handling of user data can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

With the following information, we would like to comply with the information obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible for data processing?
Markus Schulze Beikel
Weihnachtsmarkt Marbeck
Rhader Straße 16
46325 Borken-Marbeck
Email: hof@schulze-beikel.de

What data is processed for what purposes?
Booking and billing are handled by our ticketing service provider Ticket i/O, with whom we have concluded a data processing agreement. To increase the security and delivery speed of the website (legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), Ticket i/O uses the Content Delivery Network (CDN) Amazon CloudFront from Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL.
AWS is the recipient of your personal data (IP address) and acts as a processor for Ticket i/O.
A CDN is a network of distributed servers capable of delivering content to website users in an optimized manner. For this purpose, personal data may be processed in server log files by AWS.
The information is used to analyze and maintain the technical operation of the servers and network, as well as to combat abuse, and is stored by AWS for as long as necessary for the purposes described. Ticket i/O encrypts the log files and deletes them after 7 days.
Further information on data protection at AWS can be found here.
It cannot be entirely ruled out that your IP address will be transmitted by AWS to the USA. AWS has implemented enhanced compliance measures for international data transfers. These measures are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). Further information can be found here.
The following services are only loaded if you have given us consent via the consent banner in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can change your settings at any time via “Cookie Settings” in the footer.
Statistics includes the following services
Google Analytics
On our websites, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; hereinafter “Google”). In this context, pseudonymized user profiles are created and cookies (see section “Cookies”) are used.
The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activities, and to provide other services related to website usage and internet usage for market research purposes and the needs-based design of these websites. This information may also be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or insofar as third parties process this data on our behalf. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with other data from Google. The IP addresses are anonymized so that assignment is not possible (IP masking).
You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.
You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en).
As an alternative to the browser add-on, especially for browsers on mobile devices, you can also prevent collection by Google Analytics by clicking here.
An opt-out cookie will be set that prevents the future collection of your data when you visit this website. The opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser and only for our website and is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you must set the opt-out cookie again.
Further information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics can be found in the Google Analytics Help (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en).
Matomo Web Analytics
We have integrated the Matomo component from InnoCraft Ltd., 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand, on this website. Matomo is a software tool for web analysis, i.e., for the collection, gathering, and evaluation of data on the behavior of visitors to websites. Among other things, data is collected on which website a person came to a website from, which subpages of the website were accessed, or how often and for how long a subpage was viewed. This is used to optimize the website and for cost-benefit analysis of internet advertising.
Data processing takes place in Germany. We do not pass on this personal data to third parties.
You can prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time by means of a corresponding setting of the internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Such a setting of the internet browser used would also prevent Matomo from setting a cookie on your IT system. In addition, a cookie already set by Matomo can be deleted at any time via an internet browser or other software programs.
Furthermore, you have the option of objecting to and preventing the collection of data generated by Matomo relating to your use of this website. To do this, you must set an opt-out cookie here:
Marketing includes the following services
Facebook Pixel
This website uses the “Facebook Pixel” from Facebook Inc. If express consent is given, this can be used to track the behavior of users after they have seen or clicked on a Facebook ad. This procedure is used to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and can help to optimize future advertising measures.
The data collected is anonymous to us, so it does not provide us with any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with the Facebook Data Use Policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). You can enable Facebook and its partners to place ads on and off Facebook. A cookie may also be stored on your computer for these purposes.
LinkedIn Insight Tag
Our website uses the conversion tool “LinkedIn Insight Tag” from LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. This tool creates a cookie in your web browser that enables the collection of data including: IP address, device and browser properties, and page events (e.g., page views). This data is encrypted, anonymized within seven days, and the anonymized data is deleted within 90 days. LinkedIn does not share any personal data with ticket.io, but provides anonymized reports on the website audience and ad performance. In addition, LinkedIn offers the possibility of retargeting via the Insight Tag. Ticket.io can use this data to display targeted advertising outside its website without identifying you as a website visitor. More information on data protection at LinkedIn can be found in the LinkedIn privacy policy. LinkedIn members can control the use of their personal data for advertising purposes in their account settings. To deactivate the Insight Tag on our website (“opt-out”), click https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out.
Google Ads
Our website uses the functions of Google Ads, with which we advertise this website in Google search results and on third-party websites. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). For this purpose, Google sets a cookie in the browser of your device, which automatically enables interest-based advertising by means of a pseudonymous cookie ID and on the basis of the pages you have visited.
Further data processing only takes place if you have consented to Google linking your internet and app browsing history with your Google account and using information from your Google account to personalize ads that you view on the web. If you are logged into Google during your visit to our website in this case, Google uses your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define audience lists for cross-device remarketing. To do this, Google temporarily links your personal data with Google Analytics data to form audiences.
You can permanently deactivate the setting of cookies for ad preferences by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/
Alternatively, you can inform yourself about the setting of cookies at the Digital Advertising Alliance at the internet address www.aboutads.info and make settings for this. Finally, you can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and decide individually on their acceptance or exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. If cookies are not accepted, the functionality of our website may be limited.
Further information and Google’s privacy policy regarding advertising can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/
Google Tag Manager
This website uses Google Tag Manager, a cookieless domain that does not collect any personal data.
This tool allows “website tags” (i.e., keywords embedded in HTML elements) to be implemented and managed via an interface. By using Google Tag Manager, we can automatically track which button, link, or personalized image you have actively clicked on and can then record which content on our website is of particular interest to you.
The tool also triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If you have deactivated at domain or cookie level, this will remain in place for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.
Support regarding booking is provided by our ticketing service provider ticket.io, with whom we have concluded a data processing agreement.
In the context of contact (e.g., via contact form or email), personal data is collected. Which data is collected in the case of a contact form can be seen from the respective contact form. This data is stored and used exclusively for the purpose of responding to your request or for contact and the associated technical administration. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your request; this is the case when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively clarified and provided that there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary. For customer support, Ticket i/O uses the technical service provider ZOHO DESK https://desk.zoho.eu/portal/tiosupport/de/home
The data processed by cookies that are required for the proper functioning of the website are necessary to protect our legitimate interests and those of third parties pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
For all other cookies, you have given your consent via our opt-in cookie banner within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Who are the recipients of data?
Unless previously mentioned, we generally do not pass on personal data to third parties. However, we may use service providers, such as the processors already mentioned. In such cases, a service provider may gain knowledge of personal data.
Where is the data processed?
Data processing by us only takes place in the European Union.
What rights do you have?
You have the right to information about the personal data concerning you that we process. You also have a right to correction or deletion or to restriction of processing, insofar as you are legally entitled to this.
And you have a right to object to processing within the framework of legal requirements. The same applies to a right to data portability.
In particular, you have a right to object pursuant to Art. 21(1) and (2) GDPR to the processing of your data if this is based on a balancing of interests.
And last but not least, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority responsible for data protection.
