Let yourself be enchanted by the magic of the Christmas market at Waldhof Schulze Beikel. For over 30 years, the country market has delighted its visitors with around 220 lovingly decorated stalls, offering primarily regional and handmade gift ideas, craftsmanship, and decorative items.

We, the Schulze Beikel family, and our unique team create an incomparable, cozy atmosphere with great attention to detail, featuring many lights, fires, and countless Christmas trees. Enjoy the festive mood while the scent of mulled wine and roasted almonds fills the air and Christmas music floats through the sparkling lights of the forest.

Visit one of Germany’s most beautiful Christmas markets and experience the special warmth and hospitality of the Münsterland. Here, Christmas comes alive with all its traditions and customs.

Even though our Forest Christmas Market as a whole is already more than special, we would like to highlight some features that visitors of all ages can look forward to:

free of charge on Thursdays from 1 PM to 5 PM.

A large part of the paths are asphalted or paved and accessible by wheelchair or stroller. However, some of the paths are not completely compacted and could be uneven. The sanitary facilities in the premises are
of course barrier-free.
You can find these on our site plan. Parking spaces for people with disabilities are located in the immediate vicinity of the entrance. We ask you to have your valid ID ready.

Large crowds, lots of noise, and smells are particularly stressful for dogs. Therefore, we recommend that you
better leave your animal family members at home.

A cozy stroll through the Christmas market naturally includes the right
drinks and refreshments. At the Marbeck Forest Christmas Market, a
variety of food and drinks awaits you that goes far beyond potato pancakes and fries:

HAT TIPI: Immerse yourself in a cozy atmosphere and enjoy mulled wine and other hot drinks. The perfect place to warm up and get into the Christmas spirit.

LOCAL HERITAGE SOCIETY (approx. 70 seats): Buckwheat pancakes and Christmas wonder waffles are the specialties you should try here. A true delight that brings Christmas joy.

WILDECK: Lovers of game dishes will get their money’s worth here. Heartily prepared game specialties that delight the fine palate await you.

MARBECKER STADL (approx. 180 seats): Coffee and cake, hearty grilled dishes, which can also be booked for groups. Ideal for a shared meal in a cozy setting.

BAUERNSTÜBCHEN (approx. 70 seats): Homemade tarts, self-baked cakes, coffee, and warm meals – prepared in the traditional housewife style – await you in the cozy Bauernstübchen. An ideal place to warm up and indulge in sweet treats. For table reservations of 20 people or more, please send an email to cafe-bauernstuebchen@web.de.

CONVENIENT ARRIVAL

Your bus can drop you off directly at the entrance. The free bus parking lot is located at the Heiden outdoor pool, from where a free shuttle service to the Christmas market and back is offered.

INDIVIDUAL DESIGN: Celebrate in rustic barns with first-class catering or enjoy mulled wine and punch by the fire – we create individual concepts according to your wishes (from 20 people). By the way, company parties are possible throughout the entire Christmas season.

CHRISTMAS TREE SERVICE: A special gift for your employees: A very personal Christmas tree, which can even be cut yourself in the Christmas tree plantation upon request and delivered to your home if needed.

Experience the special adventure of cutting your own Christmas tree.
Daily from the 1st Advent, we lead you into our plantation,
where you can choose the perfect tree. This experience is accompanied
by stick bread, mulled wine, and small surprises for the children.

We offer a variety of beautiful Christmas trees in all variations from our own Christmas tree plantations. Upon request, we sharpen the trunk directly and thus make your Christmas tree fit for your Christmas tree stand.

For all those who want to enjoy the special magic of the Forest Christmas Market in Marbeck longer – whether as an exhibitor or visitor – there are numerous accommodation options in the surrounding area:

HOLIDAY APARTMENTS:
Our own holiday home is located directly on our Waldhof. The holiday apartment at Hof Paus in Marbeck is also within walking distance. Another holiday apartment in Marbeck is quite animal-friendly: With the Tücking family and their Sternenzelt alpacas.

HOTELS AND INNS:
If you prefer to stay in a hotel or inn, you have the options at Stadthotel Borken, at Haus Fliederbusch in Borken, at Gasthof Grunewald in Heiden, at Landhotel Beckmann in Heiden, or with the Dunckhöfner family in Heiden.

PARKING SPACES FOR MOTORHOMES:
Public parking spaces for motorhomes (without electricity and water) can be found in Marbeck at the church and at the cemetery – from there, the shuttle bus to the Forest Christmas Market can also be conveniently used. Parking spaces are also offered by Gasthof Grunewald and Landhotel Beckmann.

CAR
You can easily reach our Forest Christmas Market by car. Plenty of parking spaces are available within walking distance. We charge NO parking fee. The address for arrival is Rhader Straße 16, 46325 Borken. Access is only possible from Rhader Straße (one-way street).

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Want to be easily chauffeured to our Christmas market and enjoy the day with us? That is definitely possible here. You can get off the train RE 14 at the Marbeck/ Heiden stop. From there, our free bus shuttle (approx. every 20 minutes) takes you directly to the entrance of the Christmas market. From the town center of Heiden, a bus shuttle also runs directly to the Christmas market for a small fee.

BUS GROUPS
Would you like to arrive with a larger group in a coach? That is also possible with us. Simply book the free bus parking along with your group tickets. The bus can drop you off directly at the entrance. The free bus parking lot is not located directly at the Christmas market. However, the bus driver will receive a detailed directions description, a shuttle service, free admission to our Christmas market, and a consumption voucher from us.
